กูเกิลแม็ปส์ใหม่ แผนที่บนมือถือ Mobile Google Maps ต้องยกนิ้วให้สำหรับทีมพัฒนาบริการแผนที่ของกูเกิล "กูเกิลแม็ปส์ (Google Maps)" ซึ่งสามารถพัฒนาความสามารถใหม่ได้อย่างมีประโยชน์ ที่ผ่านมา ชาวออนไลน์สามารถดูแผนที่ทั่วโลกได้ทุกตารางนิ้วแต่กลับไม่สามารถดูแผนที่ในอาคารที่ยืนอยู่ได้ กระทั่งวันนี้ที่ Google Maps 6.0 แจ้งเกิด

Google Maps 6.0 for Android นั้นเพิ่งเปิดตัวเมื่อวันอังคารที่ 29 พฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมาตามเวลาสหรัฐฯ ความสามารถใหม่ที่โดดเด่นคือ indoor mapping หรือการแสดงแผนที่ในอาคาร (Floor Plan) แน่นอนว่าบริการนี้กูเกิลต้องจับมือเป็นพันธมิตรกับอาคารบางแห่งในสหรัฐฯในช่วงเริ่มต้น โดยรายงานระบุว่ากูเกิลได้เจรจากับบริษัทธุรกิจและผู้ให้บริการสาธารณะหลายแห่ง

Google Maps 6.0 for Android คือระบบแผนที่สำหรับอุปกรณ์แอนดรอยด์พกพาทั้งสมาร์ทโฟนและแท็บเล็ต ผู้ใช้จะสามารถดูแผนผังอาคารโดยสลับผังไปมาระหว่างชั้น (หากอาคารนั้นมีหลายชั้น) ภายในผังจะชี้ตำแหน่งข้อมูลที่จำเป็นเช่นจุดให้บริการห้องน้ำ ตู้กดเงินสดเอทีเอ็ม รวมถึงร้านค้าในอาคาร

ชัดเจนว่า Google Maps 6.0 for Android จะเป็นประโยชน์กับผู้ที่อยู่ในอาคารขนาดใหญ่เท่านั้น โดยเฉพาะในสนามบินที่นักท่องเที่ยวมักไม่คุ้นทาง รายงานจาก Wired.com ชี้ว่ากูเกิลได้ร่วมมือกับ สนามบิน San Francisco International และ O’Hare ในชิคาโก เพื่อให้บริการแล้ว พร้อมกับธุรกิจอีกประมาณ 25 บริษัทเช่น Macy และ Bloomingdale ซึ่งมีร้านค้าปลีกในเครือมากมายนับไม่ถ้วน

อย่างไรก็ตาม ระบบแผนผังอาคารของ Google Maps 6.0 for Android จะไม่สามารถทำงานร่วมกับระบบระบุพิกัด GPS ได้เนื่องจากชั้นคอนกรีตหนาในอาคาร จุดนี้ Steve Lee ผู้จัดการโครงการกูเกิลแม็ปส์ยอมรับว่า GPS ไม่สามารถทำงานในอาคารได้เสถียรพอ กูเกิลจึงต้องหันมาใช้เทคโนโลยีเก่าอย่าง ‘blue dot’ ซึ่งเคยนำมาใช้พัฒนาระบบนำทางของกูเกิลมาก่อน ทำให้ระบบสามารถรับรู้ตำแหน่งของผู้ใช้ในอาคารได้ในระยะสั้นราว 5-10 เมตร

นอกจากสหรัฐฯ กูเกิลเปิดตัวบริการแผนผังอาคารในญี่ปุ่นด้วย โดยครอบคลุมข้อมูลแผนผังรถไฟใต้ดินในโตเกียว และศูนย์การค้าหลายแห่งที่นักท่องเที่ยวหน้าใหม่ต้องพึ่งแผนที่ทุกราย จุดนี้มีการตั้งข้อสังเกตว่า Google Maps 6.0 for Android ไม่ครอบคลุมเส้นทางการขนส่งของสหรัฐฯ

และที่พลาดไม่ได้ กูเกิลได้เปิดชุดเครื่องมือเบต้าเวอร์ชันเพื่อให้ธุรกิจได้ทดลองอัปโหลดแผนผังอาคารขึ้นสู่ฐานข้อมูลของกูเกิลแม็ปส์ ซึ่งแม้จะต้องใช้เวลาอีกระยะ แต่แน่นอนว่ากูเกิลวางเดิมพันว่าบริษัทธุรกิจที่มีหน้าร้านทั้งน้อยและใหญ่จะต้องสนใจคุณสมบัตินี้

ในสถานการณ์ที่เกิดภาวะน้ำท่วมรุนแรงในครั้งนี้ เข้าใจว่าหลายท่านคงมีความกังวลในหลายๆ เรื่องครับ เนื่องจากเรายังคงขาดข้อมูลที่จำเป็นสำหรับการการเตรียมตัวรับมือกับสถานการณ์น้ำที่กำลังจะเข้ากรุงเทพ เช่น บ้านของเราอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่มีความเสี่ยงหรือไม่ น้ำจะท่วมบ้านเราหรือของญาติพี่น้อง เพื่อนบ้านหรือเปล่า และน้ำจะท่วมสูงขนาดไหน หากเรามีข้อมูลเหล่านี้อยู่ก็จะช่วยให้เราเตรียมพร้อมรับมือกับน้ำที่อาจจะเข้ามาได้อย่างมั่นใจนะครับ

ผมจึงได้รวบรวมข้อมูลระดับพื้นที่ของกรุงเทพมหานคร จัดทำโดยกรมแผนที่ทหาร และพื้นที่ที่ถูกน้ำท่วมซึ่งเป็นข้อมูลจาก GISTDA ข้อมูลเหล่านี้จะเป็นตัวที่จะบอกเราได้ว่าพื้นที่ใดมีความเสี่ยงต่อน้ำท่วมมากน้อยเพียงใด และจัดทำเป็นไฟล์ KMZ ซึ่งใช้กับโปรแกรม Google Earth เพราะใช้ง่ายไม่ยากนัก สำหรับให้เพื่อสมาชิกใช้ดูเป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้นว่าบ้านของท่านมีความเสี่ยงมากน้อยเพียงใด

ภายในแผนที่จะบอกเราได้ว่า ;
1.) พื้นที่ของท่านมีความสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเลเท่าไร เพราะหากพื้นที่อยู่สูงจากระดับน้ำทะเลไม่มากนัก (สีน้ำเงิน) ก็มีโอกาสสูงที่จะโดนน้ำท่วมหนักกว่าพื้นที่อื่นๆ
2.) แนวคันกั้นน้ำของกรุงเทพมหานคร
3.) แม่น้ำ ลำคลองสายต่างๆ
4.) ถนน ทางด่วนสายต่างๆ สถานที่สำคัญ พร้อมระบุชื่อ
5.) ภาพดาวเทียมที่จะทำให้เราเห็นสภาพพื้นที่โดยละเอียด
ุ6.) อื่นๆ

4.) คำแนะนำในการติดตั้งและการใช้ง่าน (อ่านก่อนนะครับ.pdf)

หมายเหตุ : ถ้าเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ของท่านมีโปรแกรม Google Earth เดิมอยู่แล้ว ไม่จำเป็นต้องติดตั้งใหม่นะครับ แต่เวอร์ 6 มีข้อดีขึ้นมาหน่อยคือเป็นภาษาไทย

ย้ำอีกครั้งนะครับ...ว่าแผนที่นี้เป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้น จำเป็นที่จะต้องดูข้อมูลอื่นๆ ประกอบด้วย การที่ตำแหน่งบ้านของคุณอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่มีความสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเล ดูในแผนที่อาจจะปลอดภัย แต่ในสถานการณ์จริงอาจโดนน้ำท่วมก็ได้นะครับ เช่น แม้คุณจะอยู่สูงแต่เนื่องจากโดนถนนล้อมรอบ หรือโดนคันกั้นน้ำปิดล้มก็อาจท่วมได้นะครับ แต่โดยหลักการเลยก็คือ กระแสน้ำย่อมไหลจากที่สูงลงที่ต่ำครับ

แผนที่ พื้นที่เสี่ยงน้ำท่วม 2554

1. พื้นที่เสี่ยงน้ำท่วม ระดับที่ 1 ( สีเหลือง / เสี่ยงน้อย )

เป็นพื้นที่มีความเสี่ยงปานกลาง เป็นพื้นที่น้ำไม่ท่วมในปี 2538 แต่มีความเสี่ยงที่จะท่วมได้ในปี 2554 นี้
ได้แก่พื้นที่ฝั่งตะวันออกของจังหวัดนนทบุรี และพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร และสมุทรปราการที่ไม่ได้อยู่ในพื้นที่เสี่ยงระดับ 2 และ 3
ดังกล่าวข้างต้น หากมีการท่วม น้ำจะท่วมสูงประมาณ 0.50 เมตร ในการเตรียมตัวนั้นขอให้ติดตามข่าว และเฝ้าระวัง

2. พื้นที่เสี่ยงน้ำท่วม ระดับที่ 2 ( สีส้ม / เสี่ยงกลาง แต่สนามบินสุวรรณภูมิน้ำไม่ท่วม )

เป็นพื้นที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงและเป็นพื้นที่รัฐบาลพยายามป้องกันไม่ให้น้ำเข้าท่วมต้องสู้กับน้ำ
หากป้องกันไม่ได้ คันจะพัง น้ำจะมาเร็วและแรง ดังนั้นให้ติดตามข่าว และติดตามระดับน้ำในคลองตลอดเวลา
หากมีรั่วเข้ามาท่วมได้ น้ำจะท่วมสูงประมาณ 1-2 เมตร และจะท่วมนานประมาณ 1-2 เดือน
ให้เตรียมย้ายของมีค่าขึ้นที่สูง เตรียมวางแผนหาที่จอดรถยนต์ในที่สูงและติดตามข่าวและเฝ้าระวังใกล้ชิด

( ทางตะวันออกพื้นที่ระดับ 2 >>> ได้แก่พื้นที่ ฝั่งตะวันออกของอำเภอเมืองปทุมธานี อำเภอคลองหลวง
พื้นที่ที่อยู่เหนือคลองรังสิตประยูรศักดิ์ พื้นที่ที่อยู่เหนือถนนสายไหม และพื้นที่ด้านตะวันออกของถนนหทัยราษฎร์
ถนนร่มเกล้า ถนนกิ่งแก้ว และพื้นที่ด้านตะวันออกของถนนบางบำหรุไปบางพลี

( ทางตะวันออกพื้นที่ระดับ 2 >>> ได้แก่ พื้นที่จังหวัดนนทบุรีที่อยู่ทางตะวันออกของถนนกาญจนาภิเษก
มาถึงแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา พื้นที่อำเภอสามพรานที่อยู่ใต้คลองมหาสวัสดิ์ ที่อยู่ห่างจากแม่น้ำท่าจีน อำเภอกระทุ่มแบน
อำเภอเมืองสมุทรสาครที่อยู่ห่างจากแม่น้ำท่าจีน และพื้นที่ด้านตะวันตกของเขตจอมทอง

3. พื้นที่เสี่ยงน้ำท่วม ระดับที่ 3 ( สีแดง / เสี่ยงสูงสุด )

เป็นพื้นที่น้ำท่วมแน่นอน พื้นที่ที่อยู่นอกคันพระราชดำริ จะมีสภาพการท่วมเช่นเดียวกับปี 2538
แต่ระดับสูงกว่า ประมาณ 0.50 เมตร น้ำจะท่วมสูงประมาณ 1- 2 เมตร จะท่วมนานประมาณ 1-2 เดือน
จำเป็นต้องอยู่กับน้ำให้ได้ หรือ อพยพไปอยู่ที่อื่น ให้ขนย้ายทรัพย์ขึ้นที่สูง ไม่น้อยกว่า 1.50 เมตร
จอดรถยนต์ไว้ในที่สูง และติดตามข่าวอย่างใกล้ชิด

( ทางตะวันออกพื้นที่ระดับ 3 >>> จะเป็นทางที่น้ำจะหลากจากแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา และแม่น้ำป่าสัก
จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ลงสู่ทะเลโดยน้ำจะใช้เวลาในการเดินทางมาก ได้แก่ พื้นที่บริเวณอำเภอวังน้อย
อำเภอหนองเสือ ทางตะวันออกของอำเภอธัญญบุรี พื้นที่ทางตะวันออกของเขตหนองจอก อำเภอบางน้ำเปรี้ยว
และพื้นที่ฝั่งตะวันออกของคลองพระองค์ไชยานุชิต )

( ทางตะวันตกพื้นที่ระดับ 3 >>> ได้แก่ อำเภอลาดบัวหลวง อำเภอลาดหลุมแก้ว อำเภอสามโคก

Google Plus หรือ Google+ คืออะไร ด้วยความก้าวหน้าของเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ทำให้มีเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ เกิดขึ้นมามากมาย และท่ามกลางความเจริญก้าวหน้าของเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ทำให้การติดต่อสื่อสารในยุคปัจจุบันสามารถกระทำได้ง่ายขึ้น สะดวกและรวดเร็วขึ้นด้วย และในปัจจุบันคนหันมาติดต่อทาง social network กันมากขึ้น เพราะเป็นช่องทางที่สะดวกในการสื่อสาร ไม่ว่าจะเป็นทาง Facebook , Hi5, Twitter เป็นต้น

Google+ หรือ Google Plus คือ social network หรือเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ รูปแบบใหม่ ซึ่งเป็นของ Google ที่เปิดตัวเมื่อไม่นานมานี้ ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นคู่แข่งของ Facebook ที่น่ากลัวตัวหนึ่งเลยก็ว่าได้

ซึ่ง Google Plus จะมีจุดขาย หรือจุดเด่นที่สำคัญก็คือ ทาง Google ได้สร้าง Google+ ให้เชื่อมต่อกับผลิตภัณฑ์ออนไลน์มากมายที่ Google ได้สร้างสรรค์ไว้ให้ เช่น

• ถ้าเราต้องการที่จะเช็คเมล Google ก็มี Gmail ไว้รองรับในส่วนนี้
• ถ้าหากเราจะทำเกี่ยวกับเอกสาร Google เค้าก็มี Google Docs ไว้คอยบริการ
• รวมไปถึงการค้นหาข้อมูลต่างๆ (Search) ซึ่ง Google ก็ขึ้นชื่ออันดับ 1 เรื่อง Search Engine อยู่แล้ว

เรียกว่า ใช้ Gmail (Email ของ Google) แค่อย่างเดียว ก็สามารถทำได้ทุกอย่างนั่นเอง ที่สำคัญคือ บริการต่างๆ เหล่านั้น ใช้ฟรีโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายด้วย (ซึ่งคนส่วนใหญ่ชอบของฟรี) ซึ่งบริการส่วนเสริมต่างๆ นี้เป็นสิ่งที่ Facebook ยังทำไม่ได้

Google Plus เป็น Multi-level social network คือ แทนที่ทุกคนจะเป็นเพื่อนกันหมด (Single level) เวลาเรา post หรืออัพเดต อะไร ทุกคนที่เป็นเพื่อนเราก็จะเห็นหมด แต่ใน Google+ เราสามารถจัดกลุ่มคนที่อยู่ใน contact list หรือรายชื่อที่ติดต่อ ของเราได้

ซึ่ง Google+ เรียกการแบ่งกลุ่มว่า Circle แล้วเราสามารถ ”เลือก” ที่จะแบ่งบัน post, รูป ข้อความกับกลุ่มไหนก็ได้ หรือกับทุกกลุ่มก็ได้ … ซึ่งถือว่านี้แหละคือจุดต่างจุดใหญ่ และหลายๆ คนอาจจะบอกว่า Facebook ก็สามารถสร้าง Group ได้เหมือนกัน แล้วเราก็ set ให้ Group เราเป็น private ซะ เวลาเรา post อะไรใน Group ก็จะมีแค่คนในกลุ่มเท่านั้นที่มองเห็น

แต่จุดด้อยของ Facebook ก็คือ คนที่อยู่ในกลุ่มเค้าจะรู้ว่า เค้าอยู่ในกลุ่มอะไร (อาจเสียใจถ้ารู้ว่าถูกจัดอยู่ในกลุ่มที่ไม่สำคัญ) ซึ่ง ใน Google Plus คนอื่นไม่สามารถรู้ได้ว่า เค้าอยู่ในกลุ่มอะไรของเรา แล้วเค้าก็จะเห็นสิ่งต่างๆ ของเรา เฉพาะสิ่งที่เราอยากให้เค้าเห็น โดยเค้าก็ไม่รู้ว่าเราให้คนอื่นเห็นอะไรบ้าง

Google+ มีการฟังก์ชั่นในการ Chat ที่สมบูรณ์กว่า
ในการ Chat กัน Google+ มีการฟังก์ชั่นในการ Chat ที่สมบูรณ์กว่า นั้นก็คือ Google ได้นำระบบบางอย่างบน Google Talk มาปรับใช้กับ Google+ โดยการทำให้สามารถใช้ Video Chat ได้, คุยกันเป็นกลุ่ม Circles ได้ ซึ่งอันนี้ก็ถือว่าน่าจะเหนือกว่า Facebook แล้ว

Google Plus มีระบบการ Share ที่สมจริงกว่า
นอกจากนั้น การเพิ่มเพื่อนใน Google+ ก็ไม่จำเป็นต้องร้องขอ ไม่ต้องรอเค้าอนุญาต เราสามารถ เพิ่มเพื่อนได้เลย ใน Google+ เรียกว่า “add to circle” แล้วเวลาเราต้องการ share หรือแบ่งปัน อะไรให้ทุกคนเห็นเราก็ทำได้ โดยการเลือก public เวลาที่จะ post ซึ่งมันก็เหมือนกับ Twitter ที่เราสามารถ follow ใครก็ได้ Share ข้อความให้ทุกคนที่ follow เราได้

แต่ใน Google+ จะไม่ได้จำกัดแค่ 140 ตัวอักษรเหมือนใน Twitter แต่ Google+ สามารถ Share รูป, Share วีดีโอได้ในตัวอีกด้วย ทำให้ Google+ นอกจากจะเป็นคู่แข่งโดยตรงของ Facebook แล้ว , Google+ ยังเป็นคู่แข่งโดยตรงของ Twitter อีกต่างหาก

Google Plus ทำของเดิมให้ดีกว่า ง่ายกว่า
เหมือนกับว่า Google+ หรือ Google Plus นั้น ได้รวมเอา Facebook มาผสมผสานกับ Twitter และมีการเพิ่มฟังก์ชั่นการใช้งานให้ง่ายขึ้น และฟังก์ชั่นการใช้งานต่างๆ ก็ดูน่าสนใจ ทำให้ผู้ใช้งานใช้งานได้สะดวกขึ้น ซึ่งทำให้ Google+ น่าสนใจมากขึ้น และมีการปรับฟังก์ชั่นการทำงานให้ง่ายขึ้น มีความเป็นส่วนตัวมากยิ่งขึ้น เพราะเราสามารถโพสอะไรก็ได้ และสามารถที่จะตั้งค่าได้ว่าจะให้ใครเห็นข้อความ รูปภาพที่เราโพสไปบ้าง โดยที่เพื่อนของเราไม่สามารถเห็นได้ทุกคน ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นจุดเด่นที่สำคัญเลย

Google+ ถือได้ว่า เป็น social network ที่น่าสนใจมากๆ ด้วยการรองรับการใช้งานที่ครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์แบบตามความต้องการของผู้ใช้งาน ทำให้ Google+ นั้นได้รับความนิยมจากชาวไซเบอร์เป็นอย่างมากทั่วโลก (ตอนนี้ยอดคนใช้เพิ่มขึ้นแบบก้าวกระโดดเชียว) ใครที่ยังไม่เคยใช้งาน Google+ ก็ลองไปเล่นกันดู รับรองว่าคุณจะต้องติดใจในฟังก์ชั่นต่างๆ ของ Google+ หรือ Google Plus อย่างแน่นอนครับ
